Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

The theme for NNDR 2027 will be DEI – Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. The rights of people with disabilities have long been at risk, but it is now more important than ever that we take a stand against discrimination. The growing divides show just how important it is that we work together. To tackle the challenges we face, we need to listen to one another, learn from different experiences, and challenge negative and misinformed perceptions toward diversity.

At NNDR 2027, we will gather to reaffirm the power and necessity of inclusive research, and to stand together in defence of human diversity, and the right to be seen, heard, and respected.

Where and when?

The NNDR 2027 conference will take place in Trondheim from 12 to 14 May 2027. The event will be held at Clarion Hotel Trondheim where rooms have been reserved for conference attendees. You will be able to book these rooms using the conference registration form which opens in November 2026.

The hotel is located on the Trondheim waterfront, approximately 600 metres from the train station and one kilometre from the city centre. The airport shuttle takes about 44 minutes, and the Olav Tryggvason gate is the nearest stop. If many of you are going to the Clarion Hotel Trondheim, you may ask the bus-driver to stop at the hotel.
